Sean Mackin is a visual artist and designer whose work is shaped by the many places he’s called home, including St. Paul, MN; Madison, WI; Amsterdam, NL; Sebastopol and Berkeley, CA; Chicago, IL; and Englewood, CO. Each location has influenced his perspective and continues to inspire his creative process.

He holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Edgewood College and a post-baccalaureate certificate in digital content management from Northwestern University. He has also completed additional training in project management, graphic design, and user experience design through various online certification programs.

A lifelong artist, Sean transitioned into digital design and branding with the aim of bringing the emotional depth and textured sensibility of traditional art into digital spaces. He currently works in higher education while pursuing freelance graphic design projects and commissioned artwork.
